What is the difference between one-time and monthly plans?
One-time plans (Personal Single Use and Org Events) are a single payment — great for a specific event or project. After year 1, content switches to viewing only and can be renewed annually. Monthly plans are ongoing subscriptions for organizations that regularly publish content and push notifications to their audience.
Can I upgrade from a lower tier as my audience grows?
Yes. You can upgrade at any time from your account settings. Your existing content, codes, and audience data carry over seamlessly.
What counts as a "member"?
A member is any subscriber or audience member linked to your OI account — whether they scanned a code, followed a portal link, or were added directly. Anonymous scans don't count against your limit.
Does my audience need to download an app?
No — and that's a core part of the OI promise. Anyone can tap an NFC tag or scan a QR code and instantly access your content in their browser. No sign-up, no download, no friction.
What happens to my content after the first year on a one-time plan?
After year 1, your content switches to viewing only — your audience can still access everything. To continue with full editing and uploading, renew annually ($10/year for Personal Single Use, $65/year for Org Events).
